CMC COLLEGE
The Chandka Medical College is recognized by Pakistan Medical and
Dental Council (PMDC) and also by General Medical Council (GMC) of
Englang. Its various departments are recognized by the College of
Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) and Liaqat University Of
Medical and Health Services for (FCPS) and (FRCS) , MD, M.Phil, MCPS
and various other Diploma Courses. The College of Physicians and
Surgeons has also established its regional center at Chandka Medical
College.

It emphasizes four essential ingredients for the direction of the
college. Excellent and relevant instructions in high quality basis and
applied researches and scholarships, responsive and effective public
and community service and a comprehensive schedule of student
development activities.
LOCATION
Studying in Chandka Medical College offers a great opportunity to
enjoy the cultural, social and sporting activities of the region. The
Chandka Medical College is based in the heart of Larkana City. It is
situated on High Court Road, at VIP Road, and the two roads join each
other at Station Road.
Chandka Medical College is at about 30 minutes drive from Moen-jo-Daro
Airport. . Larkana is also located to the main Railway Track to cities
of the Country.
ADMISSION
POLICY
 Students
are offered admissions according to the merit list made by the
Chairman, Admission Board. Before admission in the college students
are required to go through pre entry test which is usually performed
at Larkana city by third party Bahira University Karachi.
LIBRARY
In charge is Professor Ghulam Qadir Kaheri The Library of the college
has a major section in the campus with a total of 95,000 books in
addition to the departmental libraries. The facilities have been
expanded by acquiring new books and international journals.
HOSTELS
The College has total of 08 hostels, 02 for female and 06 for male
students . Prof. Zafar Ali Pirzada is the Hostel Provost for all
Hostels . All the hostels are located at the campus itself, the
transport to and from the hostels for students is arranged by the
college free of cost.

TRANSPORT
Prof. Ghulam Akber Solangi is Incharge of College Transport. The
College has a fleet of buses which in addition to providing
transportation for boarding students and shutting between college and
teaching hospitals, are also available for educational and excursion
trips. Public Transport is available to and from college to nearby all
points of the city.
ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Since 1998 the procedure for admissions in medical colleges has been
changed for admissions now entry tests play a major role in the
selection of students joining the college. Entry tests are held once
in a year.
After the declaration of the annual F.SC results, applications for
admission to first year MBBS classes of the college is invited through
an advertisement published in the prominent dailies.
The merit of the candidates is adjusted according to following :-
